Deliberate Creation

By Sir Robert Anthony

One Brain - Two Minds

Although we all have one brain, we possess two minds or two phases of mind power -CONSCIOUS and SUBCONSCIOUS.

It is important to understand the function of the CONSCIOUS MIND and the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND, because each one has different functionsabilities and capacities.

The Limited Conscious Mind

When we talk about the CONSCIOUS mind, we're talking about your everyday normal state ofawareness.

The problem is that the CONSCIOUS mind is very limited. However it has some very important functions. It's very good at planning things. It's good at taking a mental trip into the future and breaking things down into steps in between to make sure that we can get there. Without a CONSCIOUS mind, you wouldn't be able to plan effectively and, without planning, you'd be living in a world where not too many things would get done.

The beauty of the CONSCIOUS mind is that it allows us to have self-awareness. If you had no CONSCIOUS mind, you wouldn't be able to appreciate beautiful scenery. You couldn't fall in love - and know you're doing it. You couldn't appreciate or stand back after having done a task and look at it and be proud of what you've accomplished.

So your CONSCIOUS mind is very important. It allows you to appreciate the good things in life and it allows you to decide, "What is it that I want more of?"

It's also the place where you reason. Reason and logic rests in the CONSCIOUS mind and it's a very valuable skill to have.

The Unlimited Subconscious Mind

The SUBCONSCIOUS mind is where we record and respond to habits. Your SUBCONSCIOUS mind is where the wisdom, insight, intuition, memories, learning, happy experiences as well as unpleasant experiences are stored. Most importantly, it is our connection with Higher Intelligence.

A nice analogy between the CONSCIOUS and the SUBCONSCIOUS mind is to imagine a captain, his ship and his crew. The captain is the CONSCIOUS mind. The captain is there to set thedirection and tell everyone else what to do.

The captain's primary role is to direct or steer the ship. It would be ridiculous for him to go down into the boiler room and push more coal into the steamer, run around scrubbing the decks, trying to paint the ship, make the meals and attending to everything else. That's what the crew is for.

The captain represents your CONSCIOUS mind. The crew and the ship represent yourSUBCONSCIOUS mind.

So the difference between the CONSCIOUS and SUBCONSCIOUS is one gives directions and the other follows orders.

From the moment we get up -- to the moment we go to bed -- we operate mostly from the SUBCONSCIOUS.

The Critical Divide

Between your CONSCIOUS and SUBCONSCIOUS mind there is a division called the "Critical Factor". The Critical Factor takes what the CONSCIOUS mind is thinking and then seeks approval from the SUBCONSCIOUS mind to pass the information along. Sometimes it allows it to be delivered and sometimes it does not.

Many say we develop this Critical Factor at about age six. Prenatal and neonatal brains operate predominantly in Delta and Theta EEG frequencies through the first six years of our lives. This level of brain activity is also referred to as the hypnotic state.

While in this hypnotic state, children do not have to be actively coached into specific beliefs. They develop a core belief system simply by observing and interacting with parents, siblings, peers, teachers, religion and television.

Up about age six we are learning things very quickly. If you observe children you can see how quickly they are able to pick up new information. This is because the Critical Factor is not developed.

As we age it becomes more important to exercise caution to know the difference between right and wrong, hence the Critical Factor becomes more discerning and developed.

How The Critical Factor Works

Let me give you an example. After the Critical Factor has been developed, it creates a new set of problems. Let's say you are a smoker and you say, "I want to quit smoking". That is your Conscious Mind speaking. The Critical Factor will turn to the SUBCONSCIOUS and ask if that thought can enter.

The SUBCONSCIOUS is in charge of our habits such as smoking.

Now as intelligent as it would be to stop smoking, the SUBCONSCIOUS always takes the path of least resistance and resists change, so because of those characteristics, the SUBCONSCIOUS will decline the opportunity for that thought to enter.

The SUBCONSCIOUS operates on the "principle of least effort". It likes things the way they are and likes routine. In fact, it hates change

Because it hates change and likes to keep things the way they are, it may even try to justify the decision to keep smoking with excuses such as "I need to smoke to reduce stress" or, "it keeps me from being anxious or grouchy". So it may reject the 'quit-smoking' message.

Obviously, once you replace those hidden SUBCONSCIOUS blocks and beliefs, nothing will stand in the way of becoming a non-smoker or changing any other habit or changing any other aspect of your life. The roadblocks will be gone.

Another name I like to use for the Critical Factor is the Gatekeeper. The Gatekeeper, as the name implies, is a gatekeeper between what happens in the outside world and what you allow inside.

The function of the Gatekeeper is very simple. It's basically to keep things the same. Its primary intention is to make your life easier by rejecting information that doesn't match the Subconscious Blueprint you already have inside. In this way, you don't have to keep making new decisions.

So the Gatekeeper is designed to keep information out -- which is tremendously useful when someone tries to persuade you to do something stupid like telling you that you can "Jump off a building and you'll fly!"

But, it's also very harmful when it keeps you stuck with a belief or habit that you don't want anymore.

The Gatekeeper has some very powerful tools at its disposal, which include emotions like fear, doubt, worry and anger. These are psychological defense mechanisms that automatically reject new information.

The Truth About Willpower

Here is something else that is very important to understand. Most people try to change their habits and beliefs through the use of willpower. I WILL stop smoking. I WILL lose weight. I WILL be confident. I WILL become wealthy, etc.

The problem with willpower -- believe it or not - is willpower does not exist!

The truth is that you do not have willpower or lack of willpower. What is really happening when you use what most people call "willpower" is your Conscious attention is overriding your Subconsciousattention.

In other words, you can always consciously override what the SUBCONSCIOUS mind has been programmed to do. For example, if you're a smoker and you consciously decide not to smoke, you probably will not smoke - for awhile. However, the moment you get distracted, the cigarette ends up in your hand because your SUBCONSCIOUS attention says you smoke, so you smoke.

The same is true if you're on a diet. When your "willpower" breaks, when your conscious attention gets distracted, what happens? You find yourself with cheesecake in hand. Why? Because that's your SUBCONSCIOUS mind taking over and you keep doing the same thing you did before, which is to eat the cheesecake.

Let's say you tend to procrastinate.  So you decide to use "willpower" to stop yourself from procrastinating.  That works okay for awhile until your conscious attention gets distracted. What happens then?  You go right back to procrastinating.

When you consciously try to change (using what some people call "willpower") you're okay and your commitment works.

But as soon as you get distracted, your SUBCONSCIOUS Blueprint (the way you were before you tried to change) takes over.

Using The Wrong Part of Your Mind To Make Changes

First of all, it's important to understand that you are having difficulties making changes, you are not weak willed nor does it mean you cannot change.  You inability to make the necessary changes is purely because you are using the wrong part of your mind to try and make the change. You're putting your attention in the wrong place.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that you have to change the SUBCONSCIOUS Blueprint or automatic programming, otherwise you will keep getting the same results no matter how hard you try to change.

There are many ways to do this. One of the fastest ways is through hypnosis. What hypnosis does is bypass the Critical Factor or the Gatekeeper which allows you to rewrite the Blueprint in your SUBCONSCIOUS so that it ends up giving you everything you want out of life without any effort or struggle.

Understanding How The Subconscious Mind Makes Changes

One of the things that is important to understand when it comes to manifesting our intentions is the Subconscious normally does not change immediately or take immediate action.

If we want to use an analogy, we can use the Rabbit and the Tortoise.  Remember the story of the rabbit and the tortoise that had a race? Who ends up winning the race? The tortoise, although everyone would think the smart money would be on the rabbit. This is how our mind works.

The CONSCIOUS mind is like the rabbit. It's constantly jumping and racing all around the place, jumping to conclusions and trying to make things happen. Now that's a wonderful attribute and I'm not knocking it, but it is not always appropriate.

The SUBCONSCIOUS mind, particularly when it comes to manifesting our intentions, is much more like the tortoise. It takes time to wind up and get things going. The irony is the SUBCONSCIOUS mind will win the race every time  - more quickly than the CONSCIOUS mind ever could.

So the smart money is in the tortoise, on the SUBCONSCIOUS.

The key thing to understand is that you must allow the SUBCONSCIOUS to have is time to do its work.  It took time for the Blueprint that you have inside yourself to be set, and it will take a little time to allow that blueprint to be changed.

Changing Our Subconscious Blueprint Through Hypnosis

A competent hypnotist will be able to help you change your Blueprint much quicker, but we can make up for it by using Self-Hypnosis and allowing the tortoise to do its thing and bring us whatever we desire.

Self-hypnosis can be a powerful tool for change. If you're interested in a self-hypnosis program all you have to do is go on Google and do a search. There are dozens programs for sale.

However, last year I decided that I would add a Self-Hypnosis module to my Secret of Deliberate Creation program.  I call it Deliberate Creation Instant Self-Hypnosis.

The word instant has been added in there for a reason.  Deliberate Creation Instant Self-Hypnosis not only teaches you Self-Hypnosis, but it teaches you how to do it instantly without me having to take you through a long boring induction every time you want to use it.

Initially I guide you through the steps while re-patterning your Subconscious Blueprint to be able to access the trance state instantly. This is accomplished by using a specific trigger that is built into the method.

Understanding the "Trance" State

A simple definition of a trance is a "narrow focus of attention".  A more practical definition of "trance" is our habitual way of focusing on and filtering information and reacting to that information whether it is "real" or not.

A trance acts like a filter.  People know I am a hypnotist so they often ask me if I can put them in a trance.  My reply is always - you are already in a trance!  It could be the trance of happiness, the trance of struggle, the trance of abundance, the trance of poverty, etc .

But what we need to understand is we are always in a trance.  I am in a trance and so are you. My reply to them is, "What I can do for you is change the trance, but then you will be in a new trance".

I often tell people that I am not a hypnotist, I am really a de-hypnotist. My job is to help people de-hypnotize themselves from habits and beliefs that are not getting them what they want and change their trance or a focus of attention from one that works against them to one that worksfor them.

How Our Beliefs and the Trance State Work Together

The problem with any trance is that our trance does not allow other perspectives or viewpoints to become part of our consciousness. This causes us to view our beliefs about the world as "The Truth".

Beliefs create the trance state. When you lock on to your version of the truth, your reactions to what happens in your world become predictable and automatic. You behave in a way that is congruent with what YOU believe to be true.

A large part of the Subconscious patterning process - the formation of your trance that I have just described - relates to beliefs that we develop regarding ourselves.

These Subconscious, self-defeating beliefs are like a chunk of green kryptonite from Superman's home planet. If you have ever read or watched Superman, you know that this green crystal was the one thing that could strip Superman of his powers. For us humans, our dysfunctional, faulty programming, especially from our childhood, is our kryptonite.

Kryptonite wasn't evil by nature, but used in the wrong way, it stripped Superman of his powers. The Kryptonite of dysfunctional false beliefs will strip you of your powers as well.

Unfortunately, the programming of our childhood is held in our Subconscious and it comes back to plague us as adults and rob us of our own Superpowers! This causes many people feel stuck, ineffective and victimized - in spite of the fact that their CONSCIOUS intentions may be focused upon success.

The problem with any trance is that we don't know we are in a trance. We think we are thinking, but for the most part we are just reacting to life based on our beliefs. This causes us to act in habitual ways that are in accordance with our beliefs - which are mostly Subconscious.

Said another way, most of the time you are on autopilot, but you think you're flying the plane!!

How Can We Change Our Trance?

A few moments ago we talked about the Gatekeeper. The purpose of the Gatekeeper is to keep you in your current trance.  In order to change the trance we have to get by the Gatekeeper.

Therefore, your task is to get that Gatekeeper out of action or out of commission, so that you can go straight to the Subconscious, where the Blueprint is, and start changing that Blueprint to make it a richer, healthier and happier.

You want to rewrite the Blueprint so that your Subconscious attention ends up giving you everything you want out of life.

That's what my Deliberate Creation Instant Self-Hypnosis is designed to do. It gives you the ability to change the Subconscious Blueprint so that all the energy goes in the direction that you want it to go. When you do that, life becomes easy, natural and effortless. No willpower, no forcing and no unpleasantness required.

This is, incidentally, is why so many people fail and struggle to change their lives. It's because they're using the wrong mind to remove the obstacles in their life and solve their problems. If the problem is lodged in the Subconscious, then you must go to the Subconscious to solve the problem.

By going to the place where problem exists and resolving it, you create true freedom and the ability to live life on your terms.  You just need to know how and where to go inside your mind to make the necessary changes so that you get you what you want instead of what you don't want.

You can do this through Self-Hypnosis.  Self-Hypnosis is a simple but powerful tool that allows us to bypass the Gatekeeper and rewrite our Subconscious blueprint.

A Brief Description of Hypnosis and How It Works

First - Hypnosis Is Natural - Hypnosis is one of the most natural states in the world. It is nothing more than a focus of attention.  In fact, you will spontaneously fall into hypnosis or little mini-trances throughout the day without even realizing it. That's why you have the capacity to change your life.

Here is how it works. Things happen in your life that causes you to become discontent. Because of the discontent, you decide to eliminate or change what you don't want, or better yet movetowards what you do want.  This causes you to have little mini-trances or hypnosis experiences which are changes in thought or perception. And those experiences allow you begin the process of SLOWLY changing the Blueprint.

You repeat these mini-hypnotic trances over a period of time and your life changes.  But again, this is a very SLOW process. However this hypnotic phenomenon is going on all the time. So the first thing to realize is that hypnosis is totally natural and is going on all the time.

Second - You Cannot Get Stuck in Hypnosis - Hopefully, understanding this is natural phenomenon you will also realize that it is impossible to ever get stuck in hypnosis.

How can you get stuck? You've been in all of these mini-trances throughout your life and you've always come back, because your body knows how to do it.

The worst thing that can happen to you are in Self-Hypnosis, and it's something to look out for, is that you can fall asleep.

You fall asleep, have a great rest and then you wake up refreshed and revitalized. The only problem with falling asleep is maybe you fell asleep before you had the chance to change the Blueprint, in which case you are going to have to do it again.

I am not sure what all the other Self-Hypnosis programs teach, however, with Deliberate Creation Instant Self-Hypnosis I teach my students how to do it instantly so this will not happen.

But hypnosis totally natural and you cannot get stuck in hypnosis.

Third - No Harm Can Come To You While In Hypnosis - For those Freudians who think that the Subconscious is this pit full of evil, seething desires that have to be repressed, it is important to understand that the Subconscious maintains balance and protects you from harm.

Moreover, your Subconscious mind protects you from all kinds of things that you're not ready to handle yet. It's been protecting you your entire life so why would it stop now? It won't!!

What is the Main Purpose of Using Self-Hypnosis?

The main purpose of using self-hypnosis is purely to open a door to your Subconscious and say: "This is what I want".  This is the new plan. This is what we want to achieve.

When you use self-hypnosis you open a window of opportunity to talk directly to your Subconscious mind without interference.

As you know, our Subconscious Blueprint decides how our life is going to go. However, that blueprint has to be protected by the Gatekeeper. When the Gatekeeper gets distracted, that's when changes can be made.

So what is happening is that the very same mechanism that's protecting us from leaping off a tall building and killing ourselves, the Gatekeeper in other words, is the same mechanism that will reject other ideas for change automatically.

The purpose of Self Hypnosis is to silence the Gatekeeper at a time when you have the intentionto make a positive change in your life. It focuses exclusively on creating a window of opportunity, opening a window inside the mind, in which the silenced Gatekeeper cannot interfere, and at that time you can impress anything you want on your Subconscious.

And if you use it with The Secret of Deliberate Creation, it's going to activate a natural mechanism and this is called the POWER OF INTENTION.

In addition, as I mentioned earlier, Deliberate Creation Instant Self-Hypnosis sets up an artificial mechanism to trigger that natural this process so that you can use it anytime and enter the trance level almost instantly. You get to do it when and wherever you want to.

At that point, you'll have true power, because your intention will be coupled with the window opening up inside your mind, which will allow that intention to go straight through to the Subconscious, rewrite the Blueprint and you get your heart's desire.

Is Self-Hypnosis Like Meditation?

No. Meditation is a 'no-thought' process.  It is a way of aligning ourselves with Higher Intelligence. In Self-Hypnosis when we go to the Subconscious we go for a reason. We are giving it commandsor what hypnotists call suggestions.  Essentially we are telling it what we want. After you bypass the Gatekeeper, your Subconscious will act on your suggestions or instructions.

Here is something else that you need to know about the Subconscious. It also has a direct connection to a Higher Intelligence that knows what is best for you. It is not limited by time or space.  It knows your true purpose and will give you solutions that are in alignment with your purpose. When this happens you can't go wrong. It will allow you to easily and effortlessly live your life on purpose at all times.

This is where the "Law of Attraction" kicks in and everything you have read or learned about Quantum Physics comes into play.  If you have used my Secret of Deliberate Creation program you will know how all this works and you will have total trust in the process.

Now don't misunderstand me. Your Subconscious needs your conscious input.  Your Conscious mind allows you to decide on what you want. You must ask for what you want and do it in a state of enthusiasm and expectancy, but the key is not to try to figure out how you will get it, what it will look like, or tell your Subconscious how to do it.  And most importantly, don't tie yourself down to one outcome.

How To Handle Counter-Intentions

Another important point here is that your Conscious and Subconscious must be in agreement.
If there are any counter-intentions, you will not get what you want. So you need to get your Conscious and Subconscious in agreement.

You could do one of those "clearing" techniques. But why make it difficult?  Unlike many "clearing processes" you are familiar with that have you get in touch with your Subconscious conflicts, I believe your Subconscious knows what is best for you and all you have to do is ask it to find andget rid of any conflicting beliefs.

Just ask your Subconscious to clear anything that is in conflict with your new goals.  Rememberyou are doing this work at the Subconscious level. You are already there! So just do the work there. Once you have done this there is nothing that can stop you from achieving you goals.

It is like those computer programs you buy that clean your hard drive and your Registry. They go through your computer and remove any files that are keeping your computer from operating as it was designed to function. You don't have to discover what the files are.  The program will find, delete and replace them for you.

If a computer program can do this - don't you think your Subconscious can do this as well?  Your Subconscious is much more powerful than any computer program! So rather than search and remove conflicting beliefs, why not let your Subconscious do it for you?

Say something like, "I am now willing, ready and choose to release any beliefs that are in conflict with what I desire. In their place, I am willing and allow you to install a new set of beliefs from Higher Intelligence that are alignment with my true purpose and desires.  You know what is best for me, so I will leave it up to you."

It is very simple and it works every time!

Subconscious Suggestions and Instructions vs. Affirmations

How are Subconscious instructions or suggestions different than Affirmations? Affirmations can be very powerful. They state our intentions in the positive and elevate our energy levelenthusiasmand expectancy.

The problem is that most people try to use affirmations to try to override their Subconscious beliefs.  Affirmations can change your Subconscious over time, but they are very SLOW.  Every time you use affirmations they must get by the Critical Factor.  Occasionally you may catch the Critical Factor off guard when it is focused on something else, and the affirmation can slip through, but this can take a long time. This is why I prefer to use Self-Hypnosis.  We can go right to the Subconscious and bypass the Conscious mind and the Critical Factor.

The same is true for positive thinking. I am not knocking positive thinking, but in truth positive thinking is nothing more an overlay of doubt; it's a strategy to overcome negative thinking.  And while it may have better effects than negative thinking, I have never seen it resolve the issue of aligning our Conscious Desires with our Subconscious Beliefs.  This has to be done on a Subconscious level.

Until you get by that Critical Factor or the Gatekeeper and change your Subconscious beliefs and align them with you conscious desires, you can apply also sorts of "miracle" or "metaphysical" mumbo jumbo stuff, but it won't help you.

Let's face it - if you could make the changes you desire consciously, you'd have done it already.  However, you must find a way to bypass the Critical Factor. Self Hypnosis allows you to pop into your Subconscious mind, re-write the Blueprint and by the time the Gatekeeper wakes up again it too late to argue or reject your instructions. Then all you have to do is allow your Subconscious do its thing.

Once your Subconscious knows what you want, trust me, you will be guided towards the right people, places, circumstances and opportunities that are in alignment with your desire.  And, it will show you what is required or what actions you need to take to make it happen
